Flexible support for lengthy supply chains

Globalization, ever-increasing competitive pressure and changing consumer behavior are forcing manufacturers to adapt and rethink production processes. It is not uncommon for quick and flexible solutions to have to be found away from the regular supply chain, even in the packaging sector, because unforeseen market developments, short-term marketing campaigns or sample packaging required for product launches are often difficult to take into account in mass production.

When the pharmaceutical company Bencard Allergie from Munich wanted to produce a product video for the market launch of their new lozenge for dietary management of allergic rhinitis e.g. hay fever immunoBON®, they were faced with an organizational and logistical challenge: At the time of the planned video shoot, the packaging of the product had not yet been produced, as the production of a run of this size normally often takes many weeks. In order to be able to realize the project as planned, a folding box manufacturer had to be found at short notice who could produce a "transitional packaging" extremely quickly, in high quality and, above all, in a small print run.

ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT THE SIMPLE CONFIGURATION

Through a Google search, Bencard Allergie quickly came across PackEx. After a short consultation, the required product packaging, a classic folding box with alternating insertion closure, was produced in a run of 100 and delivered to Munich in just a few days. According to the product manager from the OTC team at Bencard, they were very satisfied with the result. In addition to the very fast production, they said they were particularly pleased with the uncomplicated configuration via the PackEx portal as well as the very good customer service - factors that contributed decisively to the timely completion of the planned product video.
